As part of its community outreach initiatives, the Association of Otolaryngologists of Odisha organized a free ENT health check-up camp in a rural area of the state. The objective of the program was to provide accessible healthcare services and raise awareness about common ear, nose, and throat conditions.
During the camp, experienced ENT specialists examined patients suffering from hearing loss, sinus infections, throat disorders, and other related conditions. Free consultations and basic diagnostic services were provided to hundreds of patients.
Doctors also conducted awareness sessions focusing on preventive care, early diagnosis of ENT diseases, and the importance of hearing protection and hygiene. Educational materials were distributed to help local communities understand symptoms that require medical attention.
Such initiatives reflect the Association’s dedication to improving public health and ensuring that specialized ENT care reaches underserved communities across Odisha.
